Falcon North, Colorado
Falcon North is the Pikes Peak MLS area which has Rex Rd on the northside, US Hwy 24 in the East side, Black Forest Road on the westside and Woodmen Road borders the south side of the area. Falcon North, Colorado Springs was formerly part of the Falcon area, but because of rapid growth it was necessary to designate it as a separate area. Falcon North is one of the few areas close to Colorado Springs that offers equestrian communities with equestrian facilities, riding easements and more. The area is part of the Falcon District 49 schools, one of the fastest growing school districts in the State of Colorado. The YMCA runs the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center that is open to the community of Meridian Ranch and the public can also participate in fee-based YMCA programs such as sports, Youth and Family Programs, Summer Day Camp, aerobic classes, etc. This recreation center is state of the art. There is a large indoor basketball courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Volleyball courts, gigantic exercise equipment area. They have it all. The area of Falcon North, Colorado Springs would be great for someone who is working at Schriever or Peterson Air Force Base. It is located just 10 miles or so on the east side of Colorado Springs. People move to this area to be in a serene country side where there are affordable homes and great views of the Front Range Mountains. Many clients move out here to have a place for their horses or their ATV’s. The elevation in Falcon is 6, 800 ft above sea level. Falcon north neighborhoods include 4 Way Ranch, Courtyards at Woodmen Hills, Meridian Ranch, Shiloh, The Meadows, Woodmen Hills and more. Antler Creek Golf Course, a Rick Phelps designed course has wide fairways that artistically wind through Woodmen Hills and Meridian Ranch communities which has a great restaurant as well.
