The area is just snug at the foot of Pikes Peak. It is five miles west of I-25 on Highway 24. Take a trip to the top on the Pikes Peak in the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, or outdoor enthusiasts can hike the 12-mile Barr Trail to Pikes Peak. The Cave of the Winds has many new attractions like the zipline adventure and enjoy a cool day in the caves. Other attractions include the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Miramont Castle, art galleries galore and Museums. Throughout the year you can enjoy seasonal events as well like, concerts at the park during the summer, and art in the park. Crystal Park, Colorado is located here in Manitou Springs. That neighborhood is Crystal Park. Not Crystola or Crystal Peak, which both lie up Ute Pass, but Crystal Park, a neighborhood of a couple hundred homes, 2,000 feet above Manitou Springs. The 2,000-acre neighborhood stays hidden in trees and mountains. There is a guard gate and a long winding road uphill. Residents there love the views and the peace and quiet above the trees. They share a community pool and is largely a very tight knit group of residents who enjoy the opportunity at any time of day to go hiking, biking or some even have a small zipline from their own back yard.
